Eric Tourneret, 45 years old, grew up in a village near Annecy in France. His childhood amidst the lakes and the mountains made him appreciate the beauty of natural environments. A photojournalist for 20 years, his favourite feature work involves studies of subcultures and human-interest stories with beautiful visual impact for the magazine press. His experience as both a studio photographer and a photojournalist allows him to treat very diverse subjects, from decoration to social issues and animals. In 2004, he began an in-depth work on bees and beekeeping.
